Dan Diorio is a Project Engineer in the Engineering & Energy Management department at Boston College. Dan has been with Boston College since 2004 managing engineering-intensive design and construction projects throughout the campus. Upon graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1998, Dan worked for several years in the Power & Utilities group at Vanderweil Engineers and at Thomas G. Gallagher, Inc. before coming to Boston College.

Dan, currently serving as the Chapter Secretary for 2011-2012, joined ASHRAE in May 2004 and began serving on the Board of Governors in 2009. After assisting on the Student Activities committee in 2009, Dan assumed the role of committee chair in 2010. In addition to chairing the Student Activities committee, he is involved with the Membership Promotion committee, focusing on student members and student membership retention.
