February was designated as YEA (Young Engineers in ASHRAE) Night. As always, it was great to see many of our younger engineers there. We are currently in the process of forming a YEA Committee; if you are interested in participating in the committee, please contact me at tshannon@dac-hvac.com or Josh Benoist at Joshua.benoist@autodesk.com. For more information on programs and resources that ASHRAE offers for YEA members, please go to http://www.ashrae.org/members/ page/861.

Please note that YEA is on Facebook now! Log on here to see info and become a fan! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Atlanta-GA/Young- Engineers-in-ASHRAE/133925524350

Member Advancement:

Boston Chapter member Michael Cannistraro was recently approved for advancement to Member grade by the Admissions and Advancement Committee. If you have been working in the HVAC industry for several years and are designated as an Associate Member, you may be eligible for advancement to Member grade. Any licensed PE’s who are still at the Associate grade level should upgrade.

To advance from Associate to Member, you must update your ASHRAE bio online, and notify membership@ ashrae.org that you have an updated bio and wish to be considered for grade advancement. You will find instructions at http://www.ashrae.org/members/page/149.

Cheers,
Teri
